City Council

Working together to represent our community, shape policy, and ensure a vibrant future for all residents.

City Council's Commitment

The City Council is the legislative body that works on behalf of residents to create local laws, guide community priorities, and strengthen public services. Councilmembers collaborate with city leadership, local organizations, and residents to ensure that decisions reflect the needs and values of our community.

Through public meetings, active outreach, and transparent decision-making, the Council helps shape the policies and programs that define our city’s future. Residents are encouraged to participate by attending meetings, sharing feedback, and connecting directly with their district representatives.

Council meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend in person or online. Meetings include discussions, presentations, and opportunities to learn about current decisions shaping our community.

Residents may share their thoughts on proposed legislation, community issues, or upcoming decisions. Public comment can be submitted in person, online, or by written statement prior to a meeting.

Have a question or concern? Reach out directly to your district representative. Councilmembers are available by email, phone, or scheduled office hours to hear from constituents and provide assistance.

Advisory boards offer residents the chance to contribute expertise and help guide city priorities. Members support council efforts by reviewing proposals, advising on policies, and recommending improvements.
